This French opera written in 1897 by Franco Alfano didn’t receive It’s Metropolitan Opera Premier until 2005, starring Placido Domingo with a second remount for tenor sensation Roberto Alagna in 2017.
I always find the most exciting part of my job is discovering a new opera and adding it to my ever widening repertoire.
